Are you a motivated and dynamic university student with an interest in marketing and sales? The MHM Magazine is looking for a proactive B2B Marketer/Sales Representative to join our growing team. We’re a small but ambitious SME, and we need someone who can help us spread awareness of our magazine and featured products while driving sales through targeted B2B outreach.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell The MHM Magazine’s advertising and feature products to businesses and organizations
- Generate leads and close sales through outreach, networking, and cold calling
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness of the magazine and its offerings
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing business clients
- Assist with content creation, email marketing, and social media campaigns when required
- Track sales performance and report on progress towards targets
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
Who We’re Looking For:
- A university student based near Hatfield, Hertfordshire (ideal for someone seeking part-time work during studies)
- Strong interest or background in marketing, sales, or the media industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Previous experience in a sales or marketing role is a plus but not essential
- Comfortable using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email campaigns, CRM systems)

Your Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for closing advertising and sponsorship deals. Referrals and warm leads will be provided by our marketing and outreach teams — your job is to engage, negotiate, and seal the deal. This role is 100% commission-based, offering you the opportunity to earn based directly on your performance.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on qualified leads passed on by our team
- Pitch and sell advertising packages, features, and partnerships in The MHM Magazine
- Build relationships with brands, agencies, creatives, and entrepreneurs
- Negotiate rates and close deals that align with our growth strategy
- Maintain a clear record of prospects, contacts, and closed deals
- Represent the voice and value of The MHM Magazine to potential clients
Remuneration
- Commission-based only
