Sales & Marketing Consultant (Contract) – Hatfield Area (Commission based role)

The MHM Magazine is looking for a motivated and outgoing individual to join our marketing team. Your focus will be promoting our major product to businesses across Hatfield — especially in The Galleria and the Town Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, and driving sales in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Approach and connect with local businesses in Hatfield
  • Present and promote our flagship marketing products and services
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships
  • Help grow brand visibility in the local area

What We’re Looking For:

  • Confident communicator with strong people skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Experience in sales/marketing is a plus (but not essential)
  • Local knowledge of Hatfield and surrounding areas

To be a good fit for this role, these 4 requirements must be met:

  • At least 1 year of Sales experience
  • Ready to take on this exciting opportunity. This role is commission-based, offering very good earning potential
  • Ready to fill this position urgently
  • Will not need, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status

Compensation:

This role is commission-based, offering excellent earning potential for high performers.

While we are still in the growth phase, we are actively building a strong sales pipeline and are ready to convert leads into long-term partnerships.

Your Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for closing advertising and sponsorship deals. Referrals and warm leads will be provided by our marketing and outreach teams — your job is to engage, negotiate, and seal the deal. This role is 100% commission-based, offering you the opportunity to earn based directly on your performance.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on qualified leads passed on by our team
  • Pitch and sell advertising packages, features, and partnerships in The MHM Magazine
  • Build relationships with brands, agencies, creatives, and entrepreneurs
  • Negotiate rates and close deals that align with our growth strategy
  • Maintain a clear record of prospects, contacts, and closed deals
  • Represent the voice and value of The MHM Magazine to potential clients

Remuneration

  • Commission-based only
  • Attractive commission structure with high earning potential based on closed deals
