NNPP increases Kano lead with over 13,000 votes – Daily Trust

Gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State, Abba Kabiru Yusuf, is ahead of Nasir Gawuna, his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival, with over 10,000 votes in the 14 Local Government Areas so far declared at the state collation center.

The LGAs are Rano, Rogo, Makoda, Kunchi, Wudil, Karaye, Tsanyawa, Minjibir, Gabasawa, Ajingi, Bagwai, Kabo, Shanini and Albasu.

The NNPP has so far polled 188,032 votes while APC trails with 1 175,003, leaving a margin of 13,029.
