Most of us spend a lot of time inside our own mind —worrying about the future, replaying events in the past, and generally focusing on the parts of life that leave us dissatisfied’-Patricia Harteneck.

Thought are said to be products of experiences in and around our lives. They are causes of emotions either pleasant or otherwise. You are
who you are today because of your accumulated thoughts over the years. Put simply to change your life change your
thought process or pattern.

However, I know there are certain naughty thoughts we struggle with for a long time but won’t yield, and I know ‘cos I have been there. They have caused us nothing but heartaches, guilt, fear, discouragement,
unworthiness, depression etc. You of course know what I mean.

Patricia Harteneck, said in her write up titled 7 ways to deal with negative thoughts, ‘Most of us spend a lot of time inside our own mind
—worrying about the future, replaying events in the past, and generally focusing on the parts of life that leave us dissatisfied’.

Bringing back to mind one of such thoughts I wrestled with for so many years: It literally placed on hold my life. And guess what! it was planted in my mind by one of the senior members of my extended family at the prime
